Last day in the classroom....

We are very sad, today was our last day with the ducks! We made sure to spend as much time with them as possible!

We love Cheese Sandwich!

Chewie running around the room

Boots wanted to take a nap, but Chewie wouldn't let him

Uh oh! Boots fell down!

The ducks were making us laugh all day long!

We had a busy afternoon

We spent all afternoon getting to know everyone at Mary Cariola!

I was scared at first, but now I just want to hold him all by myself.

Making new friends

We had a lot of visitors today. Everyone was very excited to meet our baby ducklings.

Giving Chewbacca a kiss

Our first swim

We had our first swim today and it was REALLY exciting! We were a little scared to get in the water at first but once we discovered how much fun it was - we didn't want to leave.

Puddles loved the swimming pool

It got a little too crowded for Cheese Sandwich

WE'RE HERE!

Welcome Chewbacca (Chewie), Cheese Sandwich, Puddles, Boots, Sprinkles and Delilah! Our ducks were late bloomers...they arrived last night, two days later than we expected them! We had everything set up for them and we are spending the day getting to know them. So far we have learned that baby ducklings eat and drink a lot! They like to play in their water dish and they stick together. When they go to sleep, they pile up on top of each other and cuddle...it's our favorite thing to watch. I hope you enjoy our pictures. Stay tuned today and tomorrow for MORE pictures!

Oh my gracious, the ducks are here!

Getting used to our new brooder

They're just so cute, I want to touch them!

I was so excited, I didn't even have time to take my jacket off!

Update

Hello everyone! We just wanted to let you know that we haven't seen any signs of hatch yet. We did some research and discovered that sometimes, duck eggs will hatch a little late. We promise that AS SOON as we see any signs, we will post lots of pictures! Thanks for checking in!
